Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, update, and perform preventive maintenance on infusion pumps in hospitals nationwide. You will communicate with on-site staff, configure hardware/software, and document service activity while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Expect a 40-hour week with travel. Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent field experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent biomedical/technical field service experience (3–5 years).
• Strong computer skills to troubleshoot setup and issues remotely across multiple software programs.
• Professional business acumen and effective communication skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure on-time completion.
• Active and unrestricted driver license; personal vehicle required for local work.
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must clear hospital vendor credentialing and vaccination requirements.
• Personal vehicle in good running condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on-site hospital staff.
• Organize, test, and update medical devices, and install/configure hardware, software, and network products.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Document and submit daily data with high-quality documentation.
• Assignment-based schedule with 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
