Job summary

Acumed LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking an Associate Sales Representative to exceed quotas by delivering products on time and providing high-quality technical assistance in the OR. You will assess customer bases for opportunities and execute targeted sales strategies while following up on leads.

The role requires 0–2 years of sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in operating room environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years demonstrated successful sales experience (preferably in the medical device or industry).
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other surgical personnel.
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas).
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services; marketing strategy, demos, and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Execute business plans to identify and close new business.
• Identify needs of new prospects and develop responses to meet or exceed needs (written, telephone and face-to-face).
• Perform field sales calls for assigned accounts and territory including on-call and operating room consultation.
• Provide accounts with post-sale follow up (delivery dates, in-service training, product replenishment).
• Communicate with current and new customer accounts about product updates and portfolio changes.
• Cross-sell additional products and introduce new products to accounts as available.
• Drive customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain customer records using the Company's CRM tool.
• Comply with AdvaMed code and company policies; protect assets and confidentiality.
• Obtain training in sales skills and product knowledge; stay current on medical device industry trends.
• Attend tradeshows, sales meetings, promotional activities, and professional association meetings as needed.
