Job summary

Methodist Medical Group, the North Texas physician network affiliated with Methodist Health System, seeks a medical coder to accurately assign CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10 and modifiers for outpatient and inpatient services. You will audit E/M documentation and assist in training staff on coding issues, ensuring compliance.

The role requires a health information management degree, 2+ years outpatient experience, and CPC/CCS-P certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree preferred or Associate degree in Health Information Management preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years recent outpatient coding experience (primary care & surgical).
• Surgical coding in Trauma, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and/or Neurosurgery preferred.
• Must hold CPC or CCS-P certification with appropriate experience.
