Job summary

Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance is seeking a full-time Telephone Operator to serve as the liaison between patients and medical staff. The role centers on handling telephone switchboard duties, triaging calls, and relaying messages with accuracy and care.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–5 years of office experience (medical setting preferred), and strong customer service, listening, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls courteously and connect callers with the correct extension.
• Take and relay messages accurately and promptly.
• Respond to emergency and urgent calls from patients in a timely manner.
• Direct callers to clinical staff as necessary.
• Perform triage, transfer calls, set up conference calls, and report phone equipment issues.
