Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a medical back office or 2 years nursing experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies and procedures.
• Lead duties for back-office staff; assist in hiring and training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the strictest confidentiality; perform Medical Assistant duties as required.
• Assist the Office Manager in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures.
• Advise Office Manager on problems and participate in problem solving.
• Advise and delegate duties to back office staff as assigned.
• Monitor nursing staff certifications to ensure compliance.
• Oversee pharmaceutical handling system upgrades and compliance.
• Schedule monthly back office staff meetings.
• Assist with coding-related problems and maintain equipment records.
• Support clinic efficiency and patient flow with a team approach.
