Job summary

HCA HealthcareCareNow urgent care clinics are seeking an NCT/Medical Assistant to support patient care and imaging needs in a fast-paced setting. You will take vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with X-ray procedures while maintaining accurate chart updates.

Join a dedicated team, document thoroughly in the EHR, support check-in/check-out, and meet certification requirements including BLS and state licenses where applicable. Sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant clinical experience is helpful.
• experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• Current BLS certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Breath Alcohol Screening and Drug Screening certifications within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect specimens, and perform IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR accurately.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and chart auditing.
• Maintain records and logs on in-house lab work and related testing.
