Job summary

CareNow is seeking a/X-ray Tech and Medical Assistant to perform imaging, vital signs, injections, and patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will document results in the EHR and assist with checks-in/out, ensuring smooth patient flow.

The role requires MA program completion, state licensure as GMRT/LMRT/NCT, and BLS, with a sign-on bonus potential up to $1,000 and opportunities to grow within HCA Healthcare's network.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of MA program (BOTP) is required.
• GMRT/LMRT/NCT license is required in state of residency.
• AAMA certification is preferred.
• BLS Certification required within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol and Federal Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and IM injections.
• Perform imaging services according to provider orders and update charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain in-house lab records and external lab results.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
