Job summary

CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-Ray Tech/Medical Assistant for a PRN role to support patient care in a busy clinic. The role includes vital signs, imaging, EHR updates, injections, and chart documentation.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year clinical experience, an accredited MA program, and an RT/LMRT/LSO license in the state of residency. BLS and drug/breath screening will be required within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in patient care is helpful.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) is required.
• Current RT/LMRT/LSO license in state of residency is required.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Conduct x-ray/imaging services and update patient charts accordingly.
• Record patient history and document in the EHR.
• Assist with splints, dressings, and basic patient care tasks.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and chart audits.
• Maintain radiology, in-house lab, drug screens, and related logs.
