Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a comprehensive primary care setting. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and create an exceptional guest experience for our patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred and may be required in some states.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, record requests, and referrals.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Process test results and communicate with patients as instructed.
