Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a high-quality primary care setting. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care, perform intake activities, and manage the front desk and care coordination tasks.

Responsibilities include vitals, injections, phlebotomy, administering medications as ordered, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-in to completion of visits. CPR/BLS certification is required at start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or related program.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures; perform injections and blood draws.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Process test results and communicate with patients per Provider instructions.
• Maintain supplies and assist with care coordination and outreach.
