Marathon Health Inc is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and ensure an exceptional guest experience, acting as both receptionist and clinical support.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, administering injections, assisting with procedures, front desk duties, and maintaining records. CPR/BLS certification is required at start date, and phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Perform front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records and communicate results to patients as directed.
• Support care team to develop patient plans and address gaps in care.
