Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and a welcoming guest experience.

This role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical duties, including taking vitals, performing basic procedures, and supporting patient flow throughout the clinic. CPR/BLS certification is required at start date, with opportunities for career growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• CPR/BLS certification is required at start date.
• MA certification or registration is strongly preferred/required where applicable.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, and referrals.

Skills

1 year Medical Assistant experience

Phlebotomy experience (preferred)

Education

Formal Medical Assistant program graduate

MA certification or registration

CPR/BLS certification
