Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an outstanding guest experience to our patients.

The role covers both front desk duties and clinical responsibilities, including vitals, specimen handling, injections, and assisting with procedures, contributing to a coordinated care team. CPR/BLS is required at start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review medical information and update health data for the provider.
