Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and ensure a welcoming guest experience in our clinics.

The role covers both clinical duties and front desk support, including vitals, injections, phlebotomy, documentation, scheduling, and referrals, with CPR/BLS required at start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred.
• MA certification/registration required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections and assist with procedures.
• Collect and process specimens with contracted labs as needed.
• Assist with medications and immunizations under provider orders.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Support front desk duties including scheduling and referrals.
