Marathon Health Inc in New Haven, IN seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a welcoming guest experience, combining clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with procedures, managing patient flow, and coordinating referrals. The role requires CPR/BLS at start date and MA certification where required, with benefit offerings

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• MA certification or registration preferred where required.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, provide injections and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Record data accurately in medical records and communicate results timely.
• Support care team to develop patient plans of care and address gaps.
