Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, with duties spanning clinical support and front-desk responsibilities.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of MA experience (preferably in Primary Care), graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification at start. Competitive benefits and PTO included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred; required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care and assist with procedures.
• Record data in medical records and coordinate with providers and labs.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and messaging patients.
