Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant for our New Haven, IN clinic. The role combines front-desk duties with clinical tasks to support a primary care physician in delivering high-quality patient care and a welcoming guest experience.

The position requires 1 year of MA experience and formal MA training; CPR/BLS is required at start date. Competitive benefits and PTO offered with a schedule that includes early mornings and evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where certification is mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, assist with procedures, and work with labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, and referrals.
• Record data in medical records and communicate results to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
