Marathon Health in New Haven, IN is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support a primary care team. You will perform vitals, injections, blood draws, and assist with procedures, while also handling front-desk tasks and patient flow to ensure a superb guest experience.

The role emphasizes completing clinical and administrative duties, coordinating with providers, and contributing to patient care continuity in a value-based care model.

Formación

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program is required or strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; state MA certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Record data in medical chart and communicate results to providers.

Conocimientos

Medical Assistant experience

CPR/BLS certification

Phlebotomy experience

MA certification/registration

Formal MA program graduate

Educación
