Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support primary care teams in a fast-paced clinic in Florida. The role blends front-d desk responsibilities with hands-on clinical support to deliver excellent patient care and an outstanding guest experience.

Ideal candidates will have formal MA training, certification, and at least 1 year of MA experience. CPR/BLS is required at start date; phlebotomy is preferred. Competitive benefits and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care setting.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; National or state MA certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked and clean.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals, and check-in/check-out.
• Maintain accurate records and document in the medical chart per guidelines.
• Process test results and relay findings to patients as directed.
• Participate in outreach to improve patient engagement and care gaps.
