Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA collaborates with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience within the clinic.

The role includes vitals, injections, phlebotomy, front-desk duties, and documentation. Minimum 1 year of MA experience, formal MA program completion, and CPR/BLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review patient information and gather updated health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests and abstraction, documentation, referrals, check-in/check-out.
• Record data in the medical record per guidelines and process test results and communicate results to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups and maintain supplies and equipment.
