Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA will support a primary care physician, manage patient flow, take vitals, perform injections, and assist with procedures, while delivering an excellent guest experience.

The role combines clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities, including scheduling and coordinating referrals. CPR/BLS certification is required at start date, with MA certification preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• Certification/registration as MA strongly preferred; required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, assist with procedures under physician supervision.
• Record data in medical records and coordinate with care team.
• Handle front desk tasks: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, and check-in/check-out.
