Marathon Health is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and an exceptional guest experience, acting as both a Medical Receptionist and performing clinical MA duties.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, administering medications, handling front-d desk tasks, and coordinating care, with a focus on a seamless patient journey.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is preferred; required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review medical information and gather updated health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, assist with procedures, and work with contracted labs for tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Coordinate with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data in the medical record and process test results for patients.
• Participate in outreach to drive engagement with eligible patient groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
