Job summary

Marathon Health is a leading advanced primary care provider seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience in our on-site clinics.

Essential duties include taking vitals, assisting with procedures, coordinating lab testing, and handling front desk tasks. CPR/BLS certification is required at start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification or registration is preferred; required in some states.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room; ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review medical information and update health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist procedures.
• Coordinate tests with contracted labs and handle documentation.
• Assist with medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
