Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care care team. The MA will work closely with a physician to deliver high-quality patient care and a welcoming guest experience in our onsite health centers.

The role combines front-d desk responsibilities with clinical duties, including vitals, phlebotomy, injections, and assisting with procedures. A formal MA program and CPR/BLS are required at start date, with phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Document data in the medical record per guidelines; manage test results.
