Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team in a primary care setting. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a positive guest experience for our patients.

Responsibilities include vitals, injections, phlebotomy, front desk duties, and charting. Requires MA program graduation, CPR/BLS, and 1 year of MA experience; phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals.
• Document data in the medical records and communicate results.
• Coordinate with care team to address gaps in care.
