Ultipro in Richlands, NC seeks a Medical Assistant to provide patient care under physician direction, perform front desk duties, and support clinical operations in a busy office.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program; pediatric MA experience is preferred. You will coordinate appointments, document in NextGen EHR, assist physicians, and help educate patients while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of medical terminology through formal education or hands-on training.
• Strong communication across diverse patient populations (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric).
• Reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones, greet patients professionally, and manage front desk duties.
• Assist in coordinating scheduling and patient care from pre-visit through post-visit.
• Take medical histories, record vital signs, and prepare patients for physician examinations.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; prepare and administer medications as directed.

Education

Graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
