Ultipro seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide patient care under physician direction. The role involves front desk duties, patient check-in/out, and assisting with examinations and procedures using the NextGen EHR system.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification, pediatric experience, and strong communication in a team environment. The position is full-time with standard clinic hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Pediatric MA experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and general office software.
• Strong communication across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and greet patients professionally.
• Front desk check-in/out, collect copays and payments, schedule patients.
• Update patient records in NextGen EHR.
• Coordinate appointments from pre-visit to post-visit.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures.
• Take medical histories and record vital signs.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterile techniques.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
• Document visits accurately in EHR and provide after-hours care information.
