Ultipro in North Carolina is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient care under physician supervision. The role requires completing a CMA program and pediatrics is a plus.

You will handle front desk tasks, assist with examinations, manage EHRs, and support a range of administrative and clinical duties to ensure quality patient care. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Pediatric MA experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and general office software.
• Strong ability to communicate and adapt care to diverse patient populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team oriented with self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and greet patients professionally.
• Front desk check-in/out and collect copayments.
• Update patient records in NextGen EHR.
• Coordinate appointments and assist from pre-visit to post-visit.
• Prepare patients for physician examinations.
• Take medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform in-house tests.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms.
