Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Pediatric MA experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology through formal education or hands-on training.

Aufgaben

• Answer telephones and greet patients in a courteous, caring manner.
• Front desk check-in/out, collect copayments and balances, and schedule patients.
• Update patient records in the NextGen EHR system accurately.
• Coordinate appointments and assist in patient care from pre-visit to post-visit.
• Assist physician during examinations/procedures and handle instruments.
• Take medical histories and record vital signs.
• Explain treatment procedures clearly and provide patient education resources.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain supplies.
• Monitor medications and ensure accurate documentation in the chart.
