Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Chicago, IL. This full-time role supports physicians with front-desk tasks, patient check-in/out, and basic clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, collecting co-pays, registering patients, and assisting with vitals. Some phlebotomy/injection duties may be required; on-site work only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room; document vitals, allergies, medications and visit reason.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Medical Assistant program (preferred)

CPR certification (American Heart Association)
