Job summary

Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant for full-time (40 hours) with rotating 6:00am–5:30pm shifts and some travel to other locations. The role supports a physician practice through front-office tasks and patient care.

You will answer phones, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, register patients, verify insurances, greet patients, and document vitals. Phlebotomy and injections may be required; CPR is required, MA certification preferred but

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registrations.
• Provide front office support and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and visit reason.
• Check in/out patients and perform basic vitals.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
