Endeavor Health Careers in Chicago, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant. This full-time role requires rotating hours from 6:45 am to 7 pm and travel to other sites as needed.

You will support a physician practice with front-office duties, patient intake, and basic clinical tasks including vitals and phlebotomy. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent; an accredited MA program is preferred, and CPR is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Verify insurances and check in/out patients.
• Provide front office support and administrative tasks for the physician practice.
• Document vitals, allergies, medications, and reason for visit; assist with basic procedures.
