Endeavor Health in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant to join our outpatient physician practice. The role combines front-desk duties with basic clinical support, ensuring smooth patient flow from check-in to check-out.

You will manage phones, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, verify insurance, complete registrations, document vitals, and assist with phlebotomy or injections as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
