Job summary

Endeavor Health Northbrook, IL is hiring a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant for the Plastic Surgery medical group. The role is full time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional travel to other locations.

You will greet patients, check them in/out, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and register patients. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Check in and check out patients; collect co-payments.
• Register patients and verify insurances.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support and basic vitals; phlebotomy and injections may be required.
