Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant for a full-time role. Work Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with some travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operational needs.

The position involves answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, registering patients, verifying insurances, and providing front-office support. Basic vitals, phlebotomy and injections may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office preferred; on-the-job training available.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments

• Complete patient registration
• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
• Check in and check out patient
• Verify insurances
• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
