Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL, seeks a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant to join our front desk and clinical support team. The role is full-time with hours 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with some travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet needs.

You will answer phones, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, register patients, verify insurances, support the physician practice, and perform basic vitals. Phlebotomy/injections may be required and on-site training is provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. An accredited medical assisting program is preferred but not required.
• Certification: CPR through the American Heart Association is required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience in a medical office preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-pays and register patients.
• Verify insurances and check in/out patients.
• Provide front office support and assist physician practice.
• Take vitals (BP, height, weight) and document clinical information.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
