Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Glenview, IL to join a busy physician practice. You will handle phones, register patients, collect co-pays, schedule visits, verify insurances, and provide front desk support.

Some travel to other locations may be required, with rotating shifts and flexibility in hours. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; CMA/CCMA/AMT certifications preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients.
• Schedule appointments and verify insurances.
• Register patients and collect co-pays.
• Provide front office support and basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Assist physician practice and perform phlebotomy/injections as needed.

Education
