This full-time role involves front-office duties, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and basic clinical support, with potential for phlebotomy and injections as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• Certification: CPR certification required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.

Education
