Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Glenview, IL to join a full-/part-time team. The role involves answering phones, scheduling, registrations, and front desk support in a busy physician practice.

Typical duties include collecting co-pays, documenting vitals, checking in/out, and assisting with basic patient care tasks as needed. Some travel to other locations may be required and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through American Heart Association is required; MA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registrations.
• Provide front office support and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Check in/out patients and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and prepare exam room.
• Assist with basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program (preferred)

CPR certification required

Medical Assistant Certification preferred

1 year of healthcare/medical office experience
