Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Glenview, IL. This full-time role supports front office operations, including phone coverage, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), CPR certification, and about one year of medical office experience. Some travel to other locations and flexible hours may be required, with benefits for both full- and part-time hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent work experience.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field is preferred; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
