Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This full-time role (40 hours/week) involves front office duties, patient check-in/out, insurance verification, and basic vitals.

Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, registering patients, collecting co-pays, and providing administrative support to physicians. Some phlebotomy and injections may be required; CPR is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• Certification: CPR through American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience: 1 year of work experience; prior medical office experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Provide front desk and administrative support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room; document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
• Support staff by performing basic vitals (BP, height, weight) as needed.
