Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Glenview, IL to support the physician practice. You will answer phones, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, register patients and verify insurance, while providing front-office support.

Role requires basic vitals, check-in/out, and potential phlebotomy/injections. Travel to other locations may be required with flexible hours, Monday–Friday, 8-10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office (or related field) preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room; document vitals, allergies, meds and reason for visit.
• Support physician with administrative tasks and basic phlebotomy/injections if needed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of accredited medical assisting program (preferred)
