Qualifications

• Accredited MA training or equivalent experience.
• MA certification (or willingness to obtain, reimbursement offered).
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working in a fast paced, patient centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and checking them in with warmth and professionalism.
• Managing calls, messages, scheduling, referrals, follow ups, and co pays.
• Assisting with insurance verifications and prior authorizations.
• Updating patient information and supporting clear communication between patients and providers.
• Rooming patients and preparing them for visits; taking vitals and updating medical histories.
• Assisting providers with procedures and administering vaccines; performing point-of-care testing.
