Job summary

Bookmark Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Service Specialist (Float) to support patients and providers across multiple Chandler, Gilbert and Hatfield locations. This full-time role combines front-desk duties with clinical support, requiring warmth, professionalism and a patient-centered mindset.

You’ll check in patients, manage calls and scheduling, assist with verifications and prior authorizations, take vitals, document in the HER and help with vaccines.

Qualifications

• Accredited MA training or equivalent experience.
• MA certification (or willingness to obtain; reimbursement available).
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working in a fast paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and checking them in with warmth and professionalism.
• Managing calls, messages, scheduling, referrals, follow ups, and co-pays.
• Assisting with insurance verifications and prior authorizations.
• Updating patient information and supporting clear communication between patients and providers.
• Rooming patients, taking vitals, updating histories, and documenting in the HER.
