Concentra is hiring a Medical Support Specialist to be a key member of the patient care team in Tucson. The MSS performs routine medical procedures under supervision, supports front desk tasks, and helps ensure a smooth patient experience.

Ideal candidates have a medical assistant program background or prior patient care experience, strong attention to detail, and commitment to HIPAA compliance. This role offers comprehensive benefits and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred or at least 1 year of direct patient care experience.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology; occupational medicine knowledge preferred.
• Excellent customer service, HIPAA and PHI awareness, and ability to document accurately.

Responsabilités

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing as required.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations including vaccines and ancillary testing.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments and triage emergencies.
• Prepare and assist with procedures, set up, injury care and wound management.
• Dispense medications and durable medical equipment per clinician orders.
• Maintain supplies, clean and stock exam rooms; ensure equipment calibration and record keeping.
