Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to be a vital member of the patient care team, delivering high-quality care and an excellent patient experience. The MSS performs routine medical procedures under clinician supervision, supports in registration and referral management, and assists in triage and clinic operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, or at least 1 year of direct patient care experience.
• Military medical experience accepted if credentials meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations, including vital signs and required ancillary testing.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Handle front and back office duties and ensure accurate documentation and record keeping.
