Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA program certification within 30 days if hired
• Certification from NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT or AMCA accepted
• Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of a provider
• Prepare and room patients per workflow
• Obtain vital signs and document patient history
• Review medication lists in the EHR
• Assist with depression screening tools and wellness visits
• Perform back office testing per AHN protocols
• Assist with examinations and procedures
• Potentially serve as a medical scribe with training
• Follow up with patients per provider instructions
• Update patient records and ensure supplies and equipment are stocked
