Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to collect comprehensive medical information, support providers, and contribute to a high‑quality patient experience. You will assist in assessments, screenings, and routine diagnostics, working closely with care teams to support efficient clinic operations.

The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and strong communication. Experience with EMR systems and basic computer tools is preferred.

Qualificações

• Certification as medical assistant per state or national standards.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure efficient patient flow; room patients, take vital signs, complete screenings and medication reviews.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support (lab results, records, etc.).
• Administer vaccinations and point-of-care tests as permitted by state regulations.
• Import documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.
• Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinic operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Request medical records from external providers as required.
• Conduct routine quality control checks; infection control and supplies checks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Conhecimentos

1 year experience as a medical助手

EMR experience

Computer skills (Gmail, Word, Excel)

Non-English language proficiency

US work authorization

Formação académica

Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program

CPR or BLS Certification
