Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA program preferred but not required.
• CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Phlebotomy and injections vary by specialty.
