Job summary

Endeavor Health in Bannockburn, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, and document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for the office visit. The role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. CPR-BLS is required; MA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit.
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Phlebotomy and giving injections varies based on the specialty.
